Join our specially designed Mythology Workshops that bring the ancient world to life for participants of all ages, through art, drama, storytelling, and thoughtful discussion.

Each workshop includes hands-on activities and in-depth exploration of famous myths, their impact on culture today, and the universal themes they carry.

Workshop Topic A: Greek Heroes

Explore the epic journeys and choices of legendary figures:

– Hercules
– Jason and the Argonauts
– Theseus
– Perseus

Activities include:

  • Dramatisation and role-play
  • Painting and drawing inspired by the myths
  • Creative crafts (masks, shields, labyrinth models)
  • Creative writing – rewriting myths in new ways
  • In-depth discussion on their symbolism, virtues, flaws, and their relevance today

Workshop Topic B: Homer, The Trojan War & The Odyssey

Dive into the world of Homeric epics and timeless storytelling:

– The Trojan War
– The Iliad’s heroes and conflicts
– The Odyssey’s journey and challenges

Activities include:

  • Dramatic reenactment of scenes
  • Artistic interpretations (Trojan Horse models, Odyssey maps)
  • Crafts and set design
  • Creative writing – telling the story from new perspectives
  • Guided discussions on themes like heroism, loyalty, cunning, and how these stories still resonate
