Sofia Ioannidou is a qualified and experienced language educator, translator, and Modern Greek and English teacher. She holds a diploma in Translation, a teaching license and she is a certified TESOL / TEFL teacher. For 25 years she worked as a full-time teacher of English and Greek, tutoring both children and adults, providing both online and face-to-face classes according to the needs of her students. Now, based in London, in the UK, she continues to provide the same educational services to children and adults, but she also spends time with the family and friends in Thessaloniki, Greece where she originally comes from.
Sofia is a passionate teacher who continuously strives to build rapport with her students, creating a trusting atmosphere and paying constant attention to individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. She offers a tailored learning experience in which the lesson is a dynamic and interactive process.
Sofia is also the creator of the two new language programs in Greek ‘Μαθαίνουμε Ελληνικά Μαζί’ and ‘My Lovely Greece’.
